Dr. Nicholas Montanaro is a proud Long Island native, growing up in Farmingdale, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Distinction in Research from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where he served as president of his graduating class. Dr. Montanaro later returned to Hofstra University to earn the title of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and subsequently completed General Surgery training at North Shore University Hospital. He then underwent a rigorous six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency with Northwell Health, gaining extensive experience across several institutions, including Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Northport VA Medical Center, and Stony Brook University Hospital. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Montanaro is passionate about delivering thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs. He especially appreciates working alongside medically complex patients and is committed to staying at the forefront of surgical innovation.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Montanaro enjoys spending time with family and lifelong friends, trying out the newest tech gadgets, and hitting the slopes whenever possible.
